cafepress hoodie reviews

I need yelper feedback... I volunteer for a local non-profit (the super cool Rocket Dog Rescue) and we've been thinking of designing and selling products on Cafe Press. The thing is, we've gotten feedback that their work can be really inconsistent. I haven't ordered from them very much so I don't really have any personal experience to go on. What can anyone tell me? i have, and wont ever again.  the quality is total shit.i did quite a bit of research on prices, t-shirts, type of printing etc.  i needed a nice opaque white ink on dark shirts, and didnt want it to show through or crack.  i found a company and am happy with the results and would recommend them and use them again.except i forgot the name, please PM me and ill get it for you, and post here as well.although thats just for t-shirt printing, and not selling, for that just use a paypal or google cart on your site.but cafepress is total shit. I bought a shirt off there that my friend designed. Bought sweatshirt, t-shirts, undies and coffee mug supporting a non-profit using Cafe P.
All were good quality. the t-shirts they use are terrible, the printing is very light/thin, the graphics are sometimes fuzzy (although this is more based on the image submitted i think).   I like their mugs a lot. Their tshirt printing is fair, but I've seen much better - but what is cool about them is the print on demand, which makes it cost effective, as compred to preprinting a bunch of tshirts and selling them - the profit margin is much higher in that scenario, but there is more risk, and more capital outlay necessary. i've gotten shirts from cafe press designed by friends and they've all been fine. I ordered a t-shirt for a friend once. The size I ordered was way off (based on their size chart) and when I contacted them for an exchange, they just sent me the new size and told me to keep the first t-shirt. I was very pleased with my experience! I usually order from them with no issues. However, I did ask Omid to help me design something for Ed M's bday last year that had Ed's tagline, "I'm bringing Chinky back" and of course it was rejected.
But low and behold- it arrived 3 days later! I was quite surprised. My Dad's business makes all of that stuff with any logos or design you want. Lemme know if you want the number or email. I have not personally used them, but feedback I have gotten from friends is that they are great for homemade t-shirts, like Scavenger Hunt or something but for a business you should go elsewhere. My first double post EVER. Do I get a prize? My friend made some dope tshirts of Manny Pacquiao on there. BTW: Our company is really tiny. We do more personal and small business orders for local people. What do you want made? We have done t-shirts, mugs, pens, tote bags, water bottles, luggage tags, notebooks, flashlights, letter openers............ thanks a lot for your feedback everyone!. lorree s., we may contact you... i need to talk to the woman who started rocket dog rescue first and see what she wants to do. but thanks for giving me your opinions; I bought a couple sweatshirts off there.
While I do like them, they're thin and the zipper broke on one 6 months in.If they'd been half the price (I paid 30 bucks each) it would have been worth it. is similar, but I have no experience with them. I use cafepress all the time.  The printing is good, the shirts they use are crap.  They are the really heavy cotton shirts that don't quite fit right.  I use them in a bind.  If I am making a bunch of things for an event, I use a local person instead.hoodie nike kw I didn't think to note this earlier but now I realize I should. sons of anarchy clothes targetMy Dad's company will not print anything with bad language or anything that has sexual references or graphics.oregon ducks hoodie wings shoulders
Sorry, I completely forgot where I was. I got a couple of caps there, not bad. I've bought some t shirts from there, they have been fine and held up to washing. Not as good as quality screen printing, but then again it is a very useful service - no overhead in stock and having a third party handle the payments and shipping is a good thing. My bestest friend EVAR's sister works there. She rocks, and all the stuff I've gotten is pretty good.lifted anchors hoodies ) for 7.The biggest upside to CafePress in terms of animal rescue is that we print on-demand - i.e. we have a big warehouse in Kentucky full of blank merchandise, and nothing is printed or shipped until a buyer actually buys something.  okc hoodiesWhat that means for a small, local rescue is that there is no risk to merchandising - no big upfront cash outlays, no stocking a bunch of shirts in a single style and then running out of M, no guessing how many you'll sell or having to deal with returns and exchanges, etc.bowery hoodies
Bad Rap's shop has done really well for us - our most ardent supporters look forward (and ask for) new designs all the time - and the overall quality of CafePress merchandise and print quality have increased dramatically since I started here in '03.  (So if you haven't ordered in awhile, you may be pleasantly surprised.)  Of significant note is the dark shirt print process, which these days can be difficult to distinguish from long-run screening. The other upside of CafePress (as opposed to Joe the silkscreener) is the Marketplace, which is our online catalogue (essentially the CP shop) that contains the 165 million+ things that people have designed (it's the largest retail catalogue online).  Dogs are a popular subject with CP buyers, and so there is opportunity to pick up incremental buys via the Markteplace if your designs are good (and if you remember to tag them for searches - LOL).  Other upside in terms of ecommerce is that CP passes along a great page rank to its shopkeepers, meaning that if you keyword your shop well you put yourself in position to pick up incremental buys from Google, etc.
At the end of the day, any rescue needs to decide the driving reasons behind a merchandising initiative, and weigh the business risk against the reward.  I'd personally use CP for any rescue initiative (we did, before I worked here); the heavy lifting of online merchandise is the manufacturing, order processing, payment, fulfillment, customer service and returns - and CP handles all that stuff.  At one point (before I worked here) I'd considered doing black T's for BR outside of CP (it was before CP made them) and once I did all the research and pricing and realized what a huge pain in the neck it was I abandoned the project and just figured our fans could wear white. One thing to note is that because we print things one-at-a-time, every time new merch is released (or a new process) it requires significant time and a lot of technological innovation.  We really do have to reinvent the wheel more often than you might think.  At this point we offer over 150 merch items for sale (of note to animal rescue is the dog T-shirt - heh).
